Started by father and son team David and David (yes it confused everyone, even us) I continue to run our family business Buckled Wheel in the beautiful Medieval walled town of Fethard in Tipperary. Passionate about travel (and bikes, photography and food) we are Ireland’s go to operator for roof tents, 4x4 overlanding gear and the best camping equipment on the market today. We have a workshop in Fethard with all of our gear on display where we pride ourselves in having gear that is value for money and built to last.
We pride ourselves on our service, quality and attention to detail. Whether it is a weekend trip away in one of our rental tents or a purchase of your very own roof tent, we aim to give you a helpful, friendly, honest, jargon free experience. We believe in providing quality products and only stock and use the best brands on the market.

Whether you are a cyclist, fisherman, surfer, festival goer we can put together the right camping set up for you. So whether you need a chair, a roof tent or a rebuild for your 4x4 we are here to help.
We aim to use sustainably produced and recycled products where ever possible and are constantly looking at ways to reduce our waste and our carbon footprint. This year we are donating to the Royal National Lifeboat Association. We also support and ask all of our campers to practice the principles of “leave no trace” when camping.
